I am thankful for: My wonderful in-laws, who are always there for us right when we need it. Thank you guys, you are such a blessing to us, you have no idea what your gesture means for our family. We love you both so very much!
I'm listening to: Well, I was just listening to Ben, running up to me crying. Then the following took place:
Me: Ben, what happened?
Ben: (hysterically crying, with a small amount of blood coming out of his left nostril,) Gwant, Gwaaaant? (For those of you who don't know our kids personally, Ben ends everything he says in a high-pitched tone, sounding like he is asking a question.)
Me: Grant, what happened?
Grant: (Smiling, feeling no remorse at all,) Grant hit Ben!
Well, at least he's telling the truth!
Looking forward to: I'm a little bit looking forward to school starting for Emma. She is thrilled, and I know it will be good for her. However, I have been looking at the school calendar, and my life will be even crazier when school starts between PTO, events, and the bus stop. This is really a new chapter in my crazy life.
What's for dinner tonight: I haven't decided yet. Maybe something fun that the kids and I can take on a picnic? Marty's doing one of his (many) Fantasy Football drafts tonight, so I am on my own for the evening. Birch Bay, anyone?
Missing: Still missing my tennis shoe. And I WANT my tennis shoe. With sandal weather rapidly coming to an end, I really really want my comfy shoes that I can easily chase kiddos in.
Have a good day!

C'mon now, three Fantasy Football leagues in not that many. Anyways, this is the only draft where I won't be at home for it. Three is not many. Three is a few. A few sounds much better. Give me some credit, I'm not nearly as entrenched with football season as I used to be......
Do I like I have learned to do with Ryan's hockey pool... JOIN IN! It's much more exciting for me when I'm competing in it myself!
